A most cordial greeting to our esteemed colleagues, distinguished researchers, and honored guests from all over the world.
It is my distinct honor and great pleasure, as the President of the 43rd Sapporo International Cancer Symposium, to welcome you to this meeting held in the beautiful city of Sapporo.
This symposium is a very well-established research symposium on the field of basic cancer research. This year, we are pleased to focus on the latest research findings and hold discussions on the theme of "Cancer evolution revealed by new technology." Technological innovations are rapidly transforming cancer research, enabling remarkable progress in understanding the mechanisms of carcinogenesis and the evolutionary dynamics of cancer clones. In this symposium, outstanding researchers in cancer research from both domestic and international institutions will gather to present their latest findings and engage in forward-looking discussions.
The early summer in Sapporo offers a truly splendid backdrop for our meeting. With its fresh air, lush greenery, and vibrant atmosphere, we hope this city will not only provide a comfortable setting but also inspire creativity and foster new connections.
Thank you all for making the journey to be here. I am confident that this will be a highly rewarding and memorable conference.
